African American Elders Program
The AAEP identifies low-income African American residents of central and southeast Seattle and south King County (age 60+) who have chronic health conditions and little or no support system. Ongoing case management, support and referrals help those at risk of institutionalization to remain in their homes.

Encore: A Seattle.gov Web Site for People 50+
Encore serves as a portal to community, employment, financial, health, recreation, and safety resources for older residents of Seattle and the surrounding region.
A coalition of more than 30 local nonprofit, government and community organizations, the Healthy Aging Partnership offers a wealth of information and resources to older adults and caregivers through education, outreach. and promotion of a free confidential information and assistance line: 1-888-4-ELDERS (1-888-435-3377)
Enables Asian American adults and seniors to stay physically, mentally and socially active.
King County Caregiver Support Network
In King County, nine agencies provide support for informal caregivers (family members, friends, and neighbors) for adults who, due to age or disability, have limited ability to care for themselves. In addition, kinship care resources are available for people taking care of a grandchild or other young family member.
Metro Transit—Regional Reduced Fare Permit
Entitles riders age 65+, riders with a disability, and Medicare card holders to reduced fares on public transportation systems in the Puget Sound region.
National Resource Center on LGBT Aging
Offers LGBT resources for healthy aging, including an extensive library of more than 400 multimedia resources for LGBT older adults and aging service providers covering topics such as ageism, cultural competence, end of life decisions, financial security, housing, health care access, HIV and aging, Medicaid and Medicare, mental health, racial equity, retirement, and transgender issues.
Provides an informal network of senior care providers of all kinds working together to provide advocacy and quality of care for the LGBT seniors of Washington state.
