Medicare Open Enrollment Wordfind

October 15 to December 7 is Medicare's Open Enrollment Period.

The annual Open Enrollment period for Medicare Advantage plans (Part C) and Prescription Drug plans (Part D) 2015 began on October 15. The Medicare Part D plan offers prescription drug coverage for Medicare beneficiaries through private insurance companies. If you are applying for the first time, start early during Open Enrollment to give yourself plenty of time to make your decision on which plan to choose. Start by making a list of your medications, and then visit www.medicare.gov, as well as the 2015 Medicare and You Handbook you should have received in the mail. For assistance, call the Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors (SHIBA), a program of the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner. In King County, call 206-727-6221 or toll-free 1-800-562-6900.
